I am a Vienna International Postdoctoral (VIP2) Fellow at the Max Perutz Labs, located at Vienna Bio Center in Vienna, Austria. Since my PhD (University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India), I have been interested in the biology of nucleus, particularly nuclear envelope homeostasis in yeast and mammalian cell models. I use various cell and molecular biology methods, with genetic manipulation and high-resolution imaging techniques to visualize processes such as membrane remodeling and autophagy associated with nucleus. I started working with Sci-ROI in 2024 to network with other Indian researchers across the globe, with a particular emphasis on the European diaspora. I am a part of the graphics and video editing team and support social media-based outreach.
