Amal completed his PhD in Computational Chemistry & Biophysics from IISER Pune, India, and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Computational Biomedicine, Institute of Neurosciences and Medicine (INM-9), Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. His research focuses on multiscale modeling and the application of advanced molecular dynamics simulation techniques to study biomolecular recognition processes. Amal joined the Sci-ROI leadership team in 2025.
