Sukrampal earned his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) – Mohali, during which he was awarded the EMBO Scientific Exchange Fellowship to work in Portugal. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, where he explores the Physics in Biology through Bio-Electrochemistry, Biological Electron Transfer, and Chirality-Induced Spin Selectivity (CISS), decoding how electron spin influences life.
