Kalyani completed her PhD in Biotechnology, conducting her doctoral research in the Molecular Parasitology laboratory at BRIC–NIAB, Hyderabad. Her work focused on the zoonotic pathogen Toxoplasma gondii, where she investigated the mechanisms of mRNA capping and splicing to better understand parasite gene regulation and pathogenicity. She holds a Master’s degree in Animal Biotechnology from the University of Hyderabad. She is currently seeking opportunities where she can leverage her research expertise. Beyond the laboratory, she is an avid cook, enthusiastic reader, and curious traveler who finds inspiration in stories, cultures, and cuisines.
