Dr. Indranil Rudra is currently a manager in the Computational Chemistry and Material Science department at Shell Global Research. His work deals with molecular modeling of complex hydrocarbons. He graduated with a PhD from the Indian Institute of Science with a Ph.D. in 2003 in the field of theoretical chemistry. He then worked as a postdoc at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He continued working at Georgia Institute of Technology in the field of computational chemistry initially as a postdoc and then later as Research Scientist. He then worked at Procter & Gamble as a Senior Scientist from 2008 to 2011. He then moved to Shell Global Research and has been working on a diverse range of topics for the last 9 years.
