Dr. Sabarinathan Radhakrishnan earned his PhD from University of Copenhagen, Denmark, in the field of Bioinformatics of non-coding RNA, followed by postdoctoral work at Institute for Research in Biomedicine, Barcelona, Spain in the field of DNA repair mechanisms relevant to cancer. He moved back to India in 2018 and developed his research group at NCBS with the broad interest in the application of computational and functional genomics approaches to understand the genetic and molecular basis of human genetic diseases (especially cancer).
During his talk at Sci-ROI 2020, he will share his experiences of navigating career options from an European institution towards an independent faculty at a prestigious research institute in India.
