Dr. Amitavo Mitra is an expert in Patent law with special focus in the biotech, biomedical device(s), and pharma domain. He is experienced in the drafting of patent applications broadly in the biotech domain and the prosecution of patent applications. Dr. Mitra had his initial education in the US. He had his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of New Hampshire, followed by a PhD in cellular and molecular biology from Dartmouth College, He also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Tufts medical center, Boston in the field of neuroscience. In 2013 he transitioned to India and worked at National Institute of Immunology.
