Postdoctoral Research Associate, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth)
Arindam is working as a Research Associate in the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), Houston, Texas, USA. He is a Molecular Microbiologist and currently pursuing his postdoctoral research on the genetics of bacterial coaggregation and the role of bacterial adhesins in it. A major part of his work also includes characterization of bacterial riboswithces. Arindam completed his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases (ICMR-NICED) in 2017, and then joined the laboratory of Prof. Umesh Varshney, Indian Institute of Science as a DBT-Research Associate (DBT-RA). Post his tenure in Prof. Varshney’s lab, he also worked in the laboratory of Dr. Ramray Bhat, IISc as a Research Associate. As a Sci-ROI volunteer, Arindam will be associated with blog writing. Apart from research, he is a sports enthusiastic.
