Banani Kundu, obtained her PhD from IIT Kharagpur, India, in biomaterial design and regenerative medicine. She was the recipient of the prestigious Women Scientists Postdoctoral Fellowship by the NRF, South Korea to carry out her postdoctoral research as Principal Investigator. Dr. Kundu started her academic career as an Assistant Researcher at the University of Minho, Portugal, and the Headquarters of the European Institute of Excellence in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Guimarães, Portugal. Currently she is serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Adamas University, India.
