I am a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University, studying the interactions between 26S proteasomes and nuclear importins using cryo-electron microscopy. I earned my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Delhi South Campus, where I investigated enzymes involved in fatty acid and lipoic acid biosynthesis in Leishmania major using structural and biochemical approaches including NMR, X-ray crystallography, and enzyme kinetics. With over seven years of experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and structural biology, I am passionate about exploring protein homeostasis and its relevance to health and disease.
As part of Yale’s Mentorship Committee and Symposium Committee, I am committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for postdocs across disciplines.
Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling and listening to music.
