I am a postdoctoral fellow at , Bethesda. I am currently working on iron metabolism in the mammalian system, with special focus on the role of iron chaperone, PCBP1 in the liver sinusoidal endothelial cells in iron sensing and regulation. I joined the SCI-ROI team this year to help and support the smooth transition of the Indian postdocs in the US and Europe into the Indian academia and industry. I am working with the social media outreach team of SCI-ROI this year. Involving myself with SCI-ROI would also help me improve my networking and organization skills.
