Dr. Devanathan received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Centre for molecular neuroscience, University of Hamburg, Germany, and extensive post-doctoral training in Germany before she joined the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, India as an Assistant Professor in 2015. Dr. Devanathan’s lab at IISER–Tirupati focuses on the areas of cell signaling and neurodegeneration. She received DST women’s scientist award (KIRAN SoRF) in 2015 and also currently serving as the Chair of Student Affairs at IISER–Tirupati.
