I am a 4th year PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech, USA. My primary research area is particle tracking inside aero engines and I design computational experiments to provide insights into how these particles degrade the engines over time. Currently I work closely with the Virginia Tech-Rolls Royce University Technology Center as they provide valuable experimental data to complement my research. I enjoy working in collaborative environments with individuals from diverse backgrounds and am deeply passionate about harnessing this diversity to drive meaningful social change. I joined Sci-ROI as a volunteer in 2025, to contribute to their mission of helping Indian scientists abroad make a smooth transition to the Indian ecosystem.
