Sci-ROI Roles: Rohil’s role in the leadership team of SciROI is to perform outreach with STEM professionals in engineering fields, and to do fundraising for organizing events at SciROI.
Rohil Jain is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Engineering in Medicine and Surgery (CEMS) at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He joined at this position in mid-2021, where he develops translational MEMS and microfluidic technologies with applications in organ preservation, transplants, and burn injuries. Rohil is an expert in biomedical device development. He finished his Ph.D. in 2021 from Purdue University in the USA where he worked on 3D culturing of cells for characterizing heterogeneity in cancer, and the development of microfluidic devices for studying circulating tumor biomarkers. He finished his bachelor degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India.
