2023 Sci-ROI: podcast, outreach
Sivaraj is a neurobiologist fascinated by cell communication and their use of energy. During his postdoctoral period at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences, Gottingen, Germany, using advanced metabolic sensors, he validated changes in metabolic products at the cellular level.. In 2022, Sivaraj noticed Sci-ROI through a YouTube video featuring scientists from the Science and Engineering Research Board and top Indian universities discussing funding options in India. This caught his attention as he had plans to return to India and establish his own laboratory. After becoming intrigued by Sci-ROI’s mission, he joined the volunteer team for Sci-ROI 2023, focusing particularly on the podcast and outreach. He currently works as an assistant professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Indore.
