Sudeshna Manna is a postdoctoral fellow at the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research in Würzburg, Germany. Her current research focuses on developing point-of-care molecular diagnostic tools using various CRISPR nucleases. She also has prior postdoctoral experience in designing RNA-based biosensors for detecting small molecule analytes. Sudeshna completed her Ph.D. at IISER Pune, India, where she worked in the field of chemical biology, investigating the structure, function, and recognition of therapeutically relevant nucleic acid motifs. She is actively seeking an academic position in India. In her independent research career, she aims to develop new technologies in RNA therapeutics and genetic diagnostics.By joining Sci-ROI, she hopes to connect with fellow researchers and experts from diverse fields.
