I am currently working as a post-doctoral research scientist at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, USA. My research focuses on understanding how Gram-negative bacteria develop their cell envelope and resist antibiotics. During my Ph.D., I studied the DedA/Tvp38 membrane protein family and its role in drug resistance and tolerance to alkaline pH in Gram-negative pathogens. I joined the Sci-ROI leadership team in 2024 and am excited to contribute to their social media and outreach efforts.
