Sci-ROI 5th Annual Event, 2020

Sci-ROI is pleased to announce a VIRTUAL annual event for 2020 (YIM-V), which will be organized during the second & third weekend of September. Building on our past years’ success, YIM-V aims to introduce a diverse range of post Ph.D. career options in India to our participants, who are currently engaged in research activities abroad. A great line-up of speakers from the traditional career path in academia and industry is accompanied this year with speakers from careers in tech entrepreneurship, research management, science communication, science policy, and patent law. Promoting the entrepreneurial spirit, we are delighted to announce an entrepreneurship seminar organized with great speakers from Purdue University and C-CAMP.

While the platform has gone virtual, the event is designed to facilitate a seamless interaction of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and research scientists with the senior policymakers, scientists, and entrepreneurs from India. Our goal continues to be to promote multi-level collaborative initiatives between India & the United States and facilitate the pursuance of a research career in India. The event will highlight the diversity of prospects in India and will enable the establishment of a network between individuals and agencies in India & the US.
